On September 30, 2023—the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation—we took the next collective step by acknowledging the painful truths of the past and the role nurses and the health care system and taking steps toward reconciliation. Through collaboration with employers, educators, regulators, direct care providers, leaders, and members of the public from across the province, we premiered a collection of videos that share a heartfelt apology to the Indigenous Peoples of this nation.
