The concept of Nisohkmatowak emerged from collaboration between the Kidney Health Community Program and the First Nations and Metis Health Department of the Saskatoon Health Region. Our mission was to find a way to deliver better care and education to First Nations and Metis people who live with kidney disease, and their families.
