Register Your Independent Practice with CRNS

Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) who operate an independent practice must register the practice with the CRNS and renew the registration annually.

CRNS Independent Practice registration is valid for the licensure year (December 1 – November 30) and must be renewed annually, and there is no fee to register. Failure to register your practice may be considered professional misconduct (see Bylaw XII, Section 6).

The initial registration of your independent practice consists of two steps. The first step involves registering your business, and the second step involves registering your independent practice.
