Continuing Competence Program Verification

The College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) monitors compliance with the mandatory Continuing Competence Program (CCP) by registrants, through an annual verification process. The CCP verification for the 2025 registration year will be conducted within the Alinity member portal starting at the end of March. RNs and NPs will be randomly selected to participate in the CCP verification. Selected registrants will be notified by email as follows:

  • General notification of selection for the process. Registrants should monitor their emails for further communication.
  • CCP requirements met, or updates required. Registrants will be notified if they have met CCP verification requirements or if they are required to respond to specific requests for additional information. Emails will be sent early to mid-April 2026.
    • Registrants who are required to update their learning plan will receive an email and will have 14 days to make the requested changes.
    • Some registrants may receive emails indicating that they would likely benefit from coaching provided by a Practice & Education Nursing Advisor.

Registrants selected to participate in the verification process will notice on their Alinity dashboard that their CCP Learning Plan is under review and can monitor for updates. It is important to log into the portal to review feedback and respond if requested.

Questions about the CCP verification process can be directed to the Practice & Education Nursing Advisors by phone at 1.800.667.9945 or 306.359.4227, or by email at practiceadvice@crns.ca.
