Registered Nurse License Renewal
This section is for you if you intend to renew your RN license to practice in Saskatchewan.
CRNS Application Requirements
To renew a practicing RN license, you must have completed one of the following options:
Option 1: Graduated from an approved RN nursing education program.
Option 2: Worked a minimum of 1125 hours of RN nursing practice in a five-year period.
Option 3: Worked a minimum of 450 hours of RN nursing practice in a two-year period.
Option 4: Completed an approved RN nursing re-entry program. If you have completed a nursing re-entry program within the last five years and have not practiced 1125 hours as an RN since that date, contact the CRNS at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Complete your Continuing Competence Program
- Calculate your anticipated RN, NP, and/or RN(AAP) hours for the previous practice year (Dec 1 to Nov 30).
- Login to your CRNS account.
- Follow the prompts to complete your Renewal.
