This resource has been updated on the CRNS five-year review cycle to:
- reference the CRNS’s Code of Conduct;
- further define key components, principles and concepts related to professional boundaries and the therapeutic nurse-client relationship;
- include warning signs of crossing a boundary, providing nursing care to family members or friends, commencing relationships with a current or former client, gifts, technology usage; and,
- include an updated decision-making framework for appropriate professional behaviour.
